Job Responsibilities
Deal Origination and Execution:

• Lead the due diligence of investment opportunities and manage various advisors on transactions.
• Prepare financial models, and investment memos to support the Company's understanding of opportunities.
• Prepare all relevant internal and external documents in evaluating and executing transactions.
• Identify and evaluate new investment and business opportunities for the holding company and its portfolio companies.
• Support all transaction execution workstreams as required, including managing legal documentation, and obtaining relevant board, shareholders, and regulatory approvals.
• Develop and implement investment strategies in alignment with the organization's goals and risk appetite.

Value Creation and Portfolio Management:

• Develop and maintain respectful relationships with management teams of portfolio companies.
• Work with the management teams of portfolio companies to monitor and drive the value creation priorities.
• Develop and maintain investment models and supporting analytics.
• Identify key risks facing portfolio companies and advocate for the implementation of mitigating actions.
• Provide competitive analysis on portfolio companies' market offerings and stay updated on industry trends.
• Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical factors that may impact the investment portfolio.
• Provide financial advisory support to portfolio companies where required.

Strategy Review and Development:

• Support the review of annual budgets and medium to long-term plans.
• Assist in the development and review of strategy for the holding company and its portfolio companies.

• Champion agreed strategy and investment requirements as set out and agreed by the board of the Company.
• Monitor and report on the performance of the investment portfolio, including key metrics, risk exposures, and compliance with benchmarks.

Candidate Requirements

• 10 - 15 years of work experience in private equity, investment banking, venture capital or strategy consulting is required.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Substantial hands-on transaction experience is essential
• Candidates must have a strong track record of leading and executing transactions, including areas such as M&A, corporate finance, research, negotiating, structuring, capital raising, financial advisory, and deal execution
• Exceptional, high-calibre candidate who can operate effectively at a senior level with minimal ramp-up time.
